Uncovered

So if you've read this blog before, you know I hate Jessica Simpson for what she does to a cover song. I hate Sheryl Crow for the same reason. My husband hates her for a whole slew of other reasons, mostly revolving around her dating Lance Armstrong, but I can overlook that. What I can't overlook is what she did to Sweet Child o' Mine and that Bryan Adams song (Was it Cuts Like a Knife? It was so bad I've tried to erase it from my memory.) I just can't understand it--the lady can write a pretty good song herself , why destroy songs written by other people? Anyway, I can overlook her anti-war crap; I can overlook having to look at her haggard face during all the Tour de France coverage; I can overlook the wretched Oprah with her and Lance; I can even overlook the fact that she spells Cheryl with an "S". What I can't forgive is her new status as another bad cover band. So Mo hates Sheryl Crow.
